Within our Zero Waste Hub at

22 Bread Street, we have a

Swapshop, Food Sharing Hub, and

a vegan café.

Swapshop

Donate your old belongings here and if

you're a member, you can get tokens for

what you've donated and spend them in

store.

Food Sharing Hub

We collect perfectly good unwanted food from local supermarkets, diverting it from landfill, and making

it available to anyone who needs it on a pay-what-you-can basis.

Vegan Café

You can purchase affordable vegan drinks and food in our cafe and sit and play boardgames, socialise,

work, or study.

Our Location

Accessibility: The Zero Waste Hub is on ground floor with a small step at the entrance. A ramp is

available, just ring the bell and one of our volunteers will happily assist you. All the public spaces

throughout the building are step free and there is an accessible toilet with hand rails. There are disabled parking bays on both parallel streets, East Fountainbridge and Grindlay Street. I shop here nearly every day, I apologise for not writing a review before, I felt the need to write a review, to say I really enjoy the shop, I buy groceries here, food is paid on weight, food is near expiry date,what a great way to save on food waste, save the planet :) the staff are always very helpful, some are volunteers. I would like to thank those for volunteering there time. I really enjoy shopping here.

Quite possibly the best cake I've ever had. I nearly wept 😭 and definitely licked the plate 🤣

Also I was able to buy a pair of much-needed pajama pants which I forgot to pack. An afternoon well spent! looks like they also host some lovely events and i would definitely frequent this place if I lived here.

Came back here a second time on my trip. Vibes high and welcoming. this is a lovely community space and I wish we had something like this where I live.

Inclusive and welcoming space (and staff) with plenty of clothing options and home furnishings. While I didn't have any food, it looked like a cosy and inviting place to have a coffee or a meal 😊 Love the ethos and organisation, and hope that they continue to be supported by locals and tourists alike!
